The Famous Magnetic Hill
The famous Magnetic Hill which you can see in the image below. It is experience here that even if your vehicle is turned off, it keeps on moving toward the hill upwards on the slope automatically defying gravity. Hence the name Magnetic Hill.

Lunar Eclipse on June 15, 2011
It was the longest Lunar Eclipse after many years here in India, and i was ready to capture the moon making transitions. Clicked the moon at different positions during the eclipse and had to change the shutter, aperture and ISO a lot during the shoot to compensate for the varying light of the moon. Tried different shots like the Wide angle, moon trail, moon ring etc but did little processing to produce the following image.

The lone Traveller
Another shot from the same place Sukhna Lake, displaying a lone boat rider which adds to the composition. The image is more of a silhouette as the sun was right in front. The shiny water also adds to the image.

Lighting the World
Shot of a sunrise clicked at Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh. Tried making the HDR so as to properly expose the midtones, highlights and the shadows. Did some tonemapping to provide the morning colors.

Lightning shot
It was quite rainy for last 2 days here in Chandigarh, India, so what’s better than capturing the lightning? Prepared the setup which included the camera, a stable base (not necessarily a tripod, umbrella etc) and went on to the terrace to capture this. Though it has little shake, still i liked it as it was my first lightning shot.
